1. Who we are
Adgentiz Intelligence Limited ("Adgentiz", "we", "us") operates this website. Our registered address is Rm 18B, Vincent House, 513-515 Lockhart Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.
For anything in this policy, contact us at privacy@adgentiz.com. For anything else, hello@adgentiz.com.
2. What this website collects
We have deliberately kept this short, because the site collects very little.
2.0 Cookies and similar technologies
We use Google Analytics 4 for two separate purposes, and you can accept either, both, or neither:
- Analytics — to understand which pages are useful. Page views, device type and approximate location.
- Advertising and retargeting — with Google Signals enabled, Google can recognise you across the devices you are signed in on, so that we can show you Adgentiz advertising on other websites and apps after you have visited us.
Neither runs unless you accept it. Nothing is requested from Google, and no cookie is set, until you make a choice on the banner shown on your first visit. Choosing "Reject all" means no Google script is ever loaded. Choosing "Analytics" alone means Google is instructed not to use your data for advertising.
We use no session recording and no non-Google tracker.
| Stored item | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
_ga | Cookie | Google Analytics — distinguishes visitors | 2 years |
_ga_<id> | Cookie | Google Analytics — session state | 2 years |
| Google advertising cookies | Cookie (set by Google) | Retargeting and cross-device recognition — only if you accept advertising | Set by Google; see their policy |
adgentiz-cookie-consent | localStorage | Remembers your cookie choice | Until you clear it |
adgentiz-assistant-session | sessionStorage | Keeps a chat together across messages | Until you close the tab |
adgentiz-assistant-consent | localStorage | Remembers you agreed to the chat terms | Until you clear it |
The last three are strictly necessary for features you have chosen to use and carry no personal information. Only the first two require your consent, and only those are covered by the banner.
How long we keep analytics data. Google Analytics is set to delete event- and user-level data after 2 months, the shortest period Google offers. Data used for advertising and retargeting is held by Google under its own terms and retention periods, which we do not control. We have also switched off the option that would restart that two-month clock every time you visit, so it is a genuine limit rather than one that renews indefinitely for regular visitors. Aggregate reports — visitor counts and which pages are read — are retained by Google beyond this and cannot be tied back to an individual.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
2.1 The site assistant
The website has a chat assistant. If you open it and send a message, we process:
| Data | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| --- | --- | --- |
| The messages you send and the assistant's replies | To answer your question, and so our team can follow up on enquiries | 12 months after your last message |
| Name, email, phone, company — only if you volunteer them in the chat | So we can reply to your enquiry | 12 months after your last message |
| The page you started the chat from | So we know what your enquiry is about | 12 months after your last message |
| Whether you clicked through to WhatsApp | To understand whether the assistant is useful | 12 months after your last message |
We ask for your agreement before storing any of this, and the assistant will not store a conversation you have not agreed to.
A single browser sessionStorage entry holds a random chat identifier so the conversation hangs together across messages. It is cleared when you close the tab, contains no personal information, and is not used to track you. A second entry records that you gave the agreement described above, so we do not ask again on every visit.
2.2 The enquiry form
When you send the enquiry form on the About & Contact page, what you enter — your name, company and work email, plus anything you choose to add in the optional phone, market, objective, budget, timing and message fields — is emailed to the Adgentiz team so we can reply.
That email is kept for as long as we need it to answer you and for our ordinary business records.
If that email fails to send, the page tells you so instead of showing a confirmation, so you are never left waiting on a reply that is not coming.
2.3 Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. Our host keeps these logs for a limited period, after which they are deleted, and we do not use them to identify you.
3. Who else sees your data
These service providers, and no one else. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
| Provider | What they receive | Where |
|---|---|---|
| --- | --- | --- |
| Our AI model provider | The content of your chat messages, to generate the assistant's replies | Provider infrastructure |
| Google (Analytics 4) | Page views, approximate location, device and browser — only if you accept analytics | Google infrastructure |
| Google (Signals / advertising) | Cross-device recognition for signed-in Google users, for retargeting — only if you accept advertising | Google infrastructure |
| Our database provider | Stored conversations and any contact details you gave | Singapore |
| Our email delivery provider | Enquiries you send us — from the form, or the details you leave in the chat — so they reach our inbox | Provider infrastructure |
| Our hosting provider | Standard request logs, including IP address | Various locations |
Google is named because its terms require us to say when we use Google Analytics and its advertising features. If you would like the names of the other providers that handle your data, ask us at privacy@adgentiz.com.
Google Signals is enabled on our Analytics property. It only applies to people signed in to a Google account who have Ads Personalisation switched on in their Google settings, and only where you have accepted advertising cookies here. You can control this independently at any time through your own Google account settings, which override anything you choose on this site.
Our AI provider does not use the content of your chats to train or improve its models. Conversations are stored in Singapore.
4. Why we are allowed to process it (GDPR, where it applies)
- Your consent, for storing chat conversations and following up on them. You give it in the chat panel before anything is stored, and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
- Your consent, for analytics cookies, and separately for advertising and retargeting. Nothing runs before you give it, the two are asked for independently, and rejecting either has no effect on your use of the site.
- Legitimate interests, for server logs kept to keep the site secure and available.
5. Hong Kong (PDPO)
This section is the Personal Information Collection Statement required under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Providing your personal data through the chat is voluntary; if you do not, we simply cannot follow up on your enquiry. The classes of data, purposes, and transferees are those set out in sections 2 and 3. You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data by contacting privacy@adgentiz.com.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of them, contact privacy@adgentiz.com. We will respond within 40 days.
If you are in the EEA or UK and are not satisfied, you may complain to your local supervisory authority. In Hong Kong, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.
7. Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use chat conversations, we will ask for your agreement again.
